AN EVENING AT THE OPERA

Years ago, a woman wore this stunning rhinestone brooch, before carefully placing it in a fine linen hankie, tucking it away in the back of her drawer. Along side it the key to the gatehouse with the pearl earrings she wore to the opera. The need to hold the memories being stronger than the fear of discovery.
