Miss Lydia, Mouse Detective

Miss Lydia
is quite the lady. She's ready for Bingo on Saturday night and church on Sunday morning. But! Here's her daytime job: Mouse Detective! She patrols the house and yard for mice, removing all the freeloaders off the property and into the woods. Miss L. is too tender hearted to put them in a trap and hurt them, she just gently picks them up by the tail and moves them on their way. Even while chasing mice she still has that darned crown balanced on her head. She has her vintage badge attached to her chest. This pin is another of my Miss Lydia pins. She has adventures and friends that pop up in my shops occasionally. Be on the lookout for more of her visits.

cat's in the supplies

This is my daughter's cat.  When she lived with me for a short time she was always hiding in my sewing room.  You could never find her.  Trying to knit was impossible, she'd sneak beneath my chair and cut the yarn with her kitten teeth.  I get much more done without her living with me...she was cute though.
